Which fractions are included?
Both the bars and circles include one whole, halves, thirds, quarters, fifths, sixths, eighths, tenths and twelfths. The full set contains 102 magnetic pieces.
Why use both bars and circles?
Bars let you compare fractions by length. Circles show how slices combine to make a whole. Moving between the two gives you two ways to discuss the same number.
Is it suitable for my child?
It is designed for guided fraction activities. The set contains small magnetic pieces and is not for children under 3. Use with adult supervision and keep pieces away from younger children.
How does it pack away?
Return the fraction pieces to the magnetic learning pages, fold the book closed and secure the magnetic flap. The cover measures approximately 22 × 18 cm.
